The platforms in the guide are real companies with real clients, and several are publicly traded. They’re free to apply to. You should never pay a platform to work for it.

I also can’t get you hired, and neither can anyone else. Every platform runs its own test, I have no back channel into any of them, and I won’t touch a live assessment — that’s how people get banned for good. What I can do is make sure you apply to the right places, ready.
No real AI training platform, and no honest coach, needs your Social Security number, bank login, or a photo of your ID before you have a written offer. Real platforms collect tax details through their own onboarding portal after you’re hired — never by email or chat. If anyone asks earlier, walk away and report it. That includes anyone claiming to be me.

Questions people send me
Before you ask
Do I need to know anything about AI?
No. You need to know something else well. The AI is what you’re judging, not what you need to understand. Plenty of people doing this have never written a line of code.
How much time does it take?
Most platforms have no minimum. People do anything from a few hours a week to full-time. The trade-off is that work volume isn’t guaranteed — busy stretches and quiet ones are normal, which is why most people keep two or three platforms going.
What does it really pay?
Roughly $15–$25 an hour for general work, and $30–$60+ for specialised streams like medical, legal, advanced maths and less-common languages. Realistically, expect a few hundred dollars in month one while you’re getting calibrated, and meaningfully more by month three if you treat it as serious part-time income. It’s real money. It isn’t fast money.
Can I do this from outside the US?
Some platforms hire globally, some are US-only, and a few recruit specifically for non-US languages. The guide marks which is which, though most of what I write is aimed at the US market.
I got rejected. Is that the end of it?
Usually not. Most platforms let you reapply after a cooldown — typically three to six months — and being turned down by one says nothing about the others. Nearly everyone still doing this years later got a no somewhere first.
Will you do the assessment for me?
No, and please refuse anyone who offers. Every platform treats outside help on a live assessment as fraud and bans for it, sometimes without paying out what you’ve already earned. I coach using practice questions I write myself. You sit the real one.
